v0.14.0 - Searches that fix themselves, report access per user, named upload sessions
Patent searches now correct themselves until the results are usable, prior-art searches respect your priority date, the Analyze reports are switched on per user, and uploaded files get a proper session name.
- Searches that fix themselves. A search that finds nothing widens itself, and one that finds far too much narrows itself, until you get a useful list - in one go, without re-phrasing. The queries panel shows what was actually searched.
- Prior-art search respects the priority date. Searches driven by your brief stay before your subject's priority date, with room for the special later-published art that still counts, and the best matches for your brief come first.
- Analyze reports per user. Each report type is switched on per account. Without it the Analyze button shows as locked and tells you why; reports you already have stay readable.
- Upload sessions get a real name. An uploaded file no longer names the session after the filename - a short title based on its contents appears in the sidebar shortly after the upload.
- Intake asks instead of guessing. When your description leaves open whether the invention is a device or a method, the brief asks you - it no longer fills in a shape you did not give.
- "Load full text" tells you when it fails. A temporary failure now shows a clear message and lets you retry, instead of quietly doing nothing.
- Clearer analysis prerequisites. When an analysis cannot start, you see exactly which prerequisites are missing, before any credits are spent. Re-running after topping up credits works right away.
- Tools used under an answer lists each tool once, in the order it ran - the same during the answer and after a refresh.
- Trial and access limits now apply consistently to every action that spends credits or fetches patent data; reading your existing chats, reports and exports stays open after a trial ends. Admins can extend a trial from the user page.
- Fixes: a single failed login no longer counts twice toward the lock-out; a failed registration keeps what you typed; a patent that failed and later succeeded is shown correctly and no longer holds the session's progress open.
