v1.2.0 - Any patent number, wider searches, clearer reports
v1.2.0 lowers the plan prices, prices a report by its model, finds a patent from any form of its number, takes the invention you describe as your research subject, searches wider, and says in every report which references it could check.
- New prices. Pro is €109 a month or €1,090 a year with 1,000 credits a month. Max is €219 a month or €2,190 a year with 2,500 credits a month. Extra credits come as one top-up: 1,000 credits for €119. Your credit balance carries over unchanged.
- Reports priced by model. A report costs 100 credits plus the work it takes on the model you choose, and the 100 credits are charged only when the report is finished. Rewriting sections of a report costs only the work it takes. The analyze dialog shows the price before you start.
- New models. GPT-6.1 Sol replaces GPT-6 Sol, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash joins the list.
- Any form of a patent number. Paste a number as Google Patents or the patent office prints it (US20150164221A1, US 2015/0164221 A1), and Lamp finds the patent. When only another member of the patent's family is available, the answer says which one it loaded.
- One card per patent. A patent found by two searches in two forms of its number is one card, not two. A utility model and an application that share a number stay two cards.
- Your invention, from the first message. Describe your device or method in chat, in any language, and it becomes the subject of your research. The reports are ready to run without a second message.
- Answers name what was found. After every search the chat names the closest patents it found, with their numbers and titles, and says what each one discloses.
- Wider searches. A search for similar patents finds more of them.
- Your own search query, as written. A query you write in EPO's search syntax runs exactly as you wrote it.
- Reports on readable documents. The closest prior art in a report is always a patent whose text Lamp has. Each reference is marked as checked against its source, as quoted without a passage, or as a patent whose text is not available.
